Arabica (Coffea arabica)

Our arabica coffee has a slightly sweet flavor, with hints of chocolate, nuts, and caramel. You may also notice hints for fruit and berries. There will be a slight/pleasant acidity and a little bitterness.

Robusta (Coffea caniphora)

For that extra bite in the morning, Robusta coffee is for you. Robusta coffee beans contain more caffeine and less sugar than arabica beans to give you a more bitter, grain-like flavor with a peanutty aftertaste.

Antoccino

To get to this next cup of coffee, you'll need to travel across the Atlantic and to the streets of Italy. Our Antoccino blend includes expresso and textured milk to give you the perfect blend in an espresso cup.

One of the most popular traded commodities in the world is coffee. Although there are many different kinds of coffee, there are only two varieties that are commercially grown, Coffea Arabica and Robusta (Coffea Canephora). The specialty coffee flavors and roasters mainly use the Coffea Arabica since it has a preferable taste and quality. Most of the Robusta coffee that is grown is used in instant coffee.

Is there caffeine in decaf coffee? How much caffeine is in a cup of regular coffee?

Decaf coffee? Do you mean brown sadness water? Tthe decaffeination process removes at least 97% of caffeine, virtually all decaf coffees still contain around 7 mg per 8-ounce (236-ml) cup. Caffeine content is affected by the type of coffee bean, roast style, how the coffee is prepared, and the serving size. However, the average cup of coffee has around 95 mg of caffeine.

What’s the best way to store coffee? How long will it stay fresh?

The best way to keep ground coffee or whole beans fresh is to store the coffee on a pantry shelf in an opaque airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture, says Scott McMartin, who has tasted more than half-a-million cups of coffee as a member of the Starbucks Green Coffee Quality group.

Is your coffee available in grocery stores in my area?

Find our coffee in a store near you here.

Can I pick up my coffee from your warehouse?

Sure - if we had a warehouse. We're still in the "selling out of our mom's basement" phase - best bet is to buy online here.

What type of payment methods do you accept?

American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and when that doesn't work the green stuff with dead presidents on them works too.

What are your store hours?

Monday - Friday: 5 am - 6 pm; Saturday and Sunday: 6 am - 4 pm

Does your coffee contain gluten?

There is no gluten in coffee, but this is a gluten-cross reactive food. Highly processed coffees may produce more symptoms than regular coffee. Our organic, whole-bean coffees tend to be much safer, leading researchers to believe it is the processing that causes the problems.

Adding dairy, such as milk or creamer, to the coffee can also cause issues since dairy products are common gluten-cross reactive foods.

Is your coffee Fair-Trade?

Absolutely! We believe in giving back and taking care of our community. Our coffee helps support farmers and their communities and protect the environment. Learn more about fair-trade standards here.
